The West Coast of New Zealand is a unique and wonderful place offering natural beauty right throughout the region. The area is the most sparsely populated area and has three districts within it. The Buller District, The Grey District,  and The Westland District. Each having a major town being Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika.

The land is very dense with bush offering wide rain forests and native birds. There are long coastlines and high mountains. To the east is The Southern Alps which holds home to Mt Cook (New Zealand’s highest mountain). To the West is The Tasman Sea. A lot of the land has been made into a National Parks so it remains untouched and has many beautiful natural wonders like Franz and Fox Glaciers, Punakaiki’s Pancake Rocks and many other attractions.
